A Micropile is a little-diameter (ordinarily a lot less than 12 inches), drilled and grouted replacement pile that typically is strengthened. A micropile is created by drilling a borehole, positioning reinforcement, and grouting the opening. Micropiles can stand up to axial and/or lateral hundreds, and could be regarded a substitute
